The ODT file is generated using the Writer program, a word processor created by StarOffice, which has since become Apache OpenOffice (and was also once OpenOffice.org)
The file was formatted using the OASIS OpenDocument XML standard. It can be accessed, viewed and edited using any OpenOffice compatible application, which are available for most Operating Systems.
