AutoProxy provides you with the flexibility you need to access sites that are blocked in your location while still maintaining your regular connections with other site. This means that most of your internet activity will run as smoothly as it would if you were not using a proxy while you can still access blocked sites, albeit perhaps a bit more slowly. Once you have downloaded the add-on, you have the ability to create lists of sites that you want to access through the proxy so that you don’t have to turn it on manually every time. If you are in a region in which many other people have the same restrictions on their internet access, you can opt to subscribe to a list of proxy rules that have been created for those under the same restraints rather than building your list site by site.
Please note that the gfwList should be used only if you are accessing the internet from mainland China. Do not use that particular list if you are located elsewhere. You can also choose to thsare the list that you create with others in the same situation at http://autoproxy.org/en/subscriptions.
